Nationwide Physician-Led Patient Advocacy
One physician holding the whole picture, wherever you are.
Based in North Carolina and serving patients and families nationwide. Records reviewed, specialists coordinated, decisions clarified, and denials appealed, delivered virtually or in person by arrangement.
Nationwide
Distance changes the logistics, not the advocacy.
Most of what a physician advocate does is not location-dependent. Reading a pathology report, identifying the right subspecialist at the right center, preparing you for a consult, arguing a denied claim with the clinical evidence that a medical reviewer will recognize, auditing a hospital bill: none of it requires being in the building.
Clients across the country receive the same physician, the same depth of record review, and the same caseload-limited attention as a client in Winston-Salem. Records are obtained under your authorization, reviewed, and returned as a written summary in plain language. Video sessions are scheduled around your treatment calendar rather than a clinic's. Where a treating team is willing, I join visits by phone or video.
When a situation genuinely calls for someone in the room, in-person support is available nationwide by arrangement, with travel discussed openly and agreed in advance. It is an option, never a requirement, and no engagement is priced on the assumption you will need it.
Families managing a parent's care from another state are among the most common engagements. One physician holds the whole picture and reports back, which is usually what everyone in the family actually wanted.
How a National Engagement Works
Four steps, wherever you are.
Records, gathered properly
Requested under your authorization from every institution involved, including the imaging and pathology that portals usually omit.
A physician-level read
Imaging, pathology, operative notes, and labs reviewed and returned as a written summary of what is known and what is missing.
A plan you can act on
Which questions to ask, which specialists to see, which decisions can wait, and which cannot.
Ongoing coordination
Specialists contacted, appointments advanced, denials appealed, and the family kept current in language everyone understands.
Scope of Practice
White Coat Advocate is not a medical practice and does not replace your treating physicians. We do not diagnose, prescribe, order tests, or provide emergency medical services. We provide physician-led advocacy, education, care coordination, and support so patients and families can better understand and navigate the care they are already receiving.
The Next Step
You do not have to navigate this alone.
The first conversation is complimentary and does not commit you to anything. It simply puts a physician's judgment where it belongs: on your side.
